Dear Sir,
I wuold like to inform you regarding as mention in above.
I am a Staff Nurse Khaing Khaing Saw who is working in SINGAPORE
GENERAL HOAPITAL.
On 25/2/12, one Myanmar maid named TIN WAR WAR KHING , 24 years (
according to her pass port) was transferred from Changi General
Hospital to SGH WD 43 Burn Centre as she was abused by her employer.
One of the neighbour informed to police and policemen were came to
this house and investigated.
the address of employer is ,
Block 702, #08-18, Tampanes street 71
They found out that many scratched marks on her face, many scrateh
marks and human bite marked on her hands, so many blisters on her back
and both buttocks caused by throwing of hot water onto her. She can't
walk well because her legs are swollen due to kicked by employer while
wearing in big boots. head injury beaten by coffee mug.
Police sent her to CGH via ambulance on 22/ 2 /12.
I went and see her on 2/3 12 in SGH. I was shocked when i saw this
little skiny girl, and I can't control my tears. she is suffering alot
and mentally and physically traumatised.actually she was born in 1995,
so she is only over 16 years.
She was discharged from SGH on 2/3/12 and sent to one of the shelter
home arranged by Medical Social Worker and police.
The attached photoes are taken up on discharge form hospital & almost
healing in progress.
Please may i request you to involve in her case and give her your kind support.

Following is one of the known case in Singapore…Myanmar maid girl ..like a rag dog on the Singapore street…Hope our Embassy will take good care the case.

Most of maid agency and employer in Asia country (especially Singapore, Malaysia, etc..) did not see the maid as normal human being . They treat them as just a simple slave….they keep them even lower then their pets in house.
They don't see maid as professional worker / house assistance. No respect even just as normal human being.
They need helping hands of the maids but they kept/treat maid as disgusting people in house…so let them eat in toilet/bathroom, let them sleep in kitchen floor.
Maid allow to sleep only after all ppl sleep in house. Maid must get up early hours before ppl wake up.
Maid may have just a noodle pack to eat if there was no left over food.
After long tired contract, they may miss their beloved family at home country and may wish to talk a word, but they are not allow to talk, communicate with anyone even with the neighbor house.
Maid cannot run away or cannot express their feeling by many reasons..e.g. some employer locked up maid in house while they went out, all maids' documents were keep by employee, maid need year to pay back their debt own by maid agency…
The word "Human Right" is not for the maid in Singapore or some other Asia country…..Many of maids ware badly abused in house without knowing anyone.
Once poor maid couldn't take it anymore, this kind of suicide case happen at the end…
Imagine, if she is your daughter or sister or relative,…how you will feel…..
There are Hundreds of Myanmar Maid Agency in Myanmar. Authority should take proper action and impose more strict control on this issue.
NEVER …EVER….SUGGEST TO ANY OF MYANMR GIRL TO WORK AS MAID IN ANY OTHER FOREIGN COUNTRY…
PLS DISTRIBUTE / EDUCATE WHAT IS THE REALITY LIFE TO WORK IN SINGAPORE AS MAID.
p.s. there are some few good / educated employer in Singapore who know what is the position of maid and treated with respect. But may be just 10%.
PLS CIRCULATE AROUND ALL MYANMAR AND STOP MYANMAR MAID AGENCIES !!!!
