What you said is generally true and I agree with you, but monastery has been doing a lot of tasks for Myanmar that if it is under the possession Thail Monks then Myanmar can no longer be benefited, for instance every sunday and sat there are Dhama Talks in Myanmar Language and Meditation, such will not be available.

A Monastery is Sanghika Possession ( Owned by Buddhist Monastic Community), and as Buddhist Community is trans-national, there is no point to claim that it is owned by any mundane power. It may be true that Myanmar Commander built that Monastery, but since donation was done and now it is fully owned by Sasana, no matter Thai or Burmese.
